Traffic Restriction in Hyderabad for Numaish 2024

Traffic advisory effective from January 1 to February 15 in Hyderabad for Numaish

Hyderabad: In preparation for the 83rd All India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally, the Hyderabad city police have released a 45-day traffic advisory starting today. The restrictions aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance public safety, according to Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Sreenivasa Reddy.

As part of the advisory, certain routes will experience temporary diversions affecting the movement of RTC district buses, private buses, and heavy vehicles.

Vehicles from SA Bazaar and Jambagh heading towards Nampally will be redirected towards Abids Junction. Similarly, vehicles from the Police Control Room & Basheer Bagh bound for Nampally will be rerouted via AR Petrol Pump and BJR Statue.

Hyderabad traffic police will implement further diversions, directing heavy and medium-sized motor vehicles from Begum Bazar Chatri towards Darussalam and Ek Minar, Nampally, through Alaska Junction. Vehicles from Darussalam (Goshamahal Road) destined for Afzalgunj or Abids will be rerouted via Alaska Junction towards Begum Bazar, City College, and Nayapool.

Additionally, heavy and medium motor vehicles, including RTC buses, from Moosa Bowli/Bhadurpura will be diverted through City College towards Nayapool & MJ Market, as outlined in the police advisory.

In an effort to mitigate congestion and parking challenges during the exhibition, Hyderabad police encourage the public to consider alternative transportation options such as RTC Buses and Hyderabad Metro Rail services.

As the 45-day advisory takes effect, Hyderabad police assure citizens that these measures are implemented to ensure a safe and organized traffic environment during the All India Industrial Exhibition.
