The body was shifted to the mortuary of the area hospital in Bhongir for post-mortem.
NALGONDA: A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a private lodge near the old bus stand in Yadagirigutta town of Yadadri-Bhongir district on Saturday. According to police, the woman had checked into the lodge on Saturday morning along with a man. About an hour later, the man left the premises and did not return. When he failed to come back even after noon, the lodge staff went to check the room and found the woman hanging from the ceiling fan.
Police said the man had furnished an identity proof at the time of check-in and efforts were underway to trace him. The woman’s identity had not been established at the time of reporting. The body was shifted to the mortuary of the area hospital in Bhongir for post-mortem. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
