57-year-old school headmaster was arrested in Ooty for alleged drunk driving and attacking a constable while trying to evade police.
The Ooty cops have nabbed a school headmaster for alleged drunk driving and attacking a constable.
The police on Wednesday evening received information about a car being driven recklessly and ramming a vehicle at Casino junction. The same car also caused minor damage to another vehicle at M. Palada area.
The police intercepted the car near the market junction. As the driver tried to escape, the cops overpowered him, during which he attacked a constable.
The person was identified as Srinivasan, 57, the headmaster of a school in Kadanaadu village limits near here. Further enquiry is underway.
