Nalgonda Police Files Cases Against 14 Crooks

The district police have filed cases against 14 persons for running clinics in violation of rules. The cases were booked following a complaint lodged by the Telangana Medical Council (TMC).

NALGONDA: The district police have filed cases against 14 persons for running clinics in violation of rules. The cases were booked following a complaint lodged by the Telangana Medical Council (TMC).

Those booked in Nalgonda were Venkateshwarlu of Soumya Sujani Polyclinic; Krishna Reddy of Yashwanth Clinic in I Town; and V. Srinivas of Balaji Clinic; G Rama Krishna of Devi First Aid Clinic; G. Upender of Upendra First Aid Clinic and Rizwan of Health Care First Aid Centre in II Town limits.

TMC vice-chairman Dr G. Srinivas had said in his complaint that some persons were running clinics while posing as doctors and unnecessarily prescribing antibiotics, steroids and painkillers to the patients.

Others booked were A. Yadaiah of Ari Lakshmi First Aid Centre, Palakurthi; Munugode mandal, Nalagella Ajaiah of Anjaiah Clinic and Salaparaju Venkanna of Lakshmi Shivani Hospital. In Thipparthi mandal, police booked S. Ratnam of Joy Clinic, Nookala Nagesh of Praneeth Clinic, M. Shanker of Shanker First Aid Centre and Sheik Khaleem of Excellent First Aid Centre.

Dr Srinivas asked the people to complain to the Telangana Medical Council through WhatsApp no. 9154382727, if they found any person extending allopathic treatments displaying name boards as ‘RMP’ doctor.
