Hyderabad: A 20-year-old biomedical student from Chennai, interning in Hyderabad, was allegedly raped by two men in Bachupally. The survivor was invited to a party by a trusted friend, where the assault occurred on May 3. She recently filed a complaint, leading to the swift arrest of the accused—her friend and his associate—under IPC Sections 376 (rape) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). They were remanded to judicial custody.
