Bengali youth, girl sent back to West Bengal after abduction complaint

As per information given by the West Bengal police, the East Godavari police located and arrested the youth

KAKINADA: A 21-year-old from West Bengal, Pintu Madolu, has been arrested after he abducted a 16-year old minor girl and brought her to East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.

As per information given by the West Bengal police, the East Godavari police located and arrested the youth and handed him over to West Bengal police.

 

According to East Godavari police, the Matia police officials in North-24 Parganas district sent an e-mail on August 25 to East Godavari SP about the abduction of the minor girl. The Amalapuram DSP deployed two teams to search for the accused. 

The accused was located at a brick kiln at Ankampalem village in Atreyapuram mandal. He and the girl were handed over to the West Bengal Police.

The two were handed over to the West Bengal police after taking permission from the court by a transit warrant’ on Sunday, police said.
