Hyderabad: Businessman attacked at his office
Hyderabad: The owner of a timber depot was stabbed by two unidentified people when he was at the depot on Thursday evening.
The injured man went to the Mailardevpally police station with the knife stuck in his abdomen and lodged a complaint.
According to the police, Narsimha, a resident of Shamshabad owns a timber depot at Mailardevpally. At about 5 pm, two unidentified persons went to the depot and asked a worker about Narasimha’s whereabouts and were guided inside. They went inside his office and stabbed him in his abdomen causing severe bleeding.
The workers then took Narasimha to the police station to lodge a complaint, and he was immediately shifted to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment. He is undergoing a surgery and his condition can be ascertained only after that, said the police, adding that a case under Section 307 of IPC has been registered and the knife has been recovered.
