Kochi: Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the actor abduction and sexual assault case, on Wednesday, claimed the ‘Madam’ he was referring to was actress Kavya Madhavan, and he had spoken to her over the phone.
“My Madam is Kavya…I had revealed it earlier too,” he told reports while being taken to the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court here in connection with a 2011 abduction bid case. However, he claimed Dileep’s wife was not the brain behind the conspiracy.
When asked about her statement to police that she had not even met him, he said the actress was lying. “I had talked to her,” he claimed.
The court extended his remand till September 8 in this case of the abduction bid on a senior female actor from the Ernakulam Railway station.
She was picked up from the station when she came for a shooting and attempted to abduct her instead of dropping her at the shooting location. On an alert raised by the actor’s husband, the attempt was aborted, and he later dropped her at a hotel on the city outskirts.
Meanwhile, the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Angamaly extended the custody of him and all his co-accused persons till September 13.
The proceedings at the court were initiated in his absence as he had been produced before the CJM.
