Hyderabad: Cyberabad She Teams said on Saturday that of the 495 decoy operations it conducted in July, officials managed to arrest 56 individuals and book 47 petty cases. All 103 complaints received from women in distress through different modes were disposed of on merit.
Cyberabad police commissioner Stephen Raveendra said here on Saturday that most of the complaints pertained to harassment on phone and social media, threats, cheating in the name of marriage, stalking and one case of workplace harassment.
"Of the 117 who were accused of different types of harassment, seven were minors and two were aged above 50 years," he said.
In one case, Seelam Durga Prasad, a milk vendor, was caught while video graphing a 20-year-old who was in the washroom.
