Hyderabad: One of the accused in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) question paper leak scam Suresh, arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the scam, is also accused of killing his second wife a few years ago.
Suresh is accused of supplying question papers to 30 candidates, some of whom have even topped the entrance also. He also paid Rs 8 lakh for getting the copies of the question paper from the examination hall through WhatsApp.
SIT found that Suresh, who has been working as a divisional engineer in the TSNPDCL is involved in financial issues, settlements, etc. It is learnt that he had killed his second wife over a petty dispute and the case is before the court.
He had supplied question papers of AEE and DAO entrance to 30 candidates and made a killing. He had also made a deal of around Rs 40 lakh each with three candidates to whom he had helped through ChatGPT and also collected Rs 20 lakh from them.
Meanwhile, the SIT intensified the hunt to nab his associate who shared copies of the DAO and AEE question papers to him through whatsapp from the examination hall and also candidates who have received papers from him. “They will traced and arrested at the earliest,” SIT officials said.
