Hyderabad: Student found dead 20 kilometers away from school

HYDERABAD: A student from the Victoria Memorial Home and Residential School died on Monday triggering protests by his schoolmates on the road. The Saroornagar police later moved the students back to the school.
Quoting the school authorities, A. Srivani, Saroornagar corporator, said that two students had a fight following which one of them ran away. The student’s body was found 20 kilometers away from the school.
Srivani has demanded that a post-mortem be conducted. She has also sought the resignation of education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy.
