Three interstate ganja peddlers arrested in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The central zone task force arrested three interstate ganja peddlers with 7.5 kg ganja worth one lakh.

The accused Devara Vamshi (22), a native of Asifabad district, Manas Ranjan Labala (26) and Chandan Kumar (25) from Rayagada district in Odisha were arrested while selling the stuff to a customer in Warasiguda on Saturday.

Odisha excise officials had earlier arrested Vamshi in August, when he was smuggling the contraband in his native place.

After his release from central prison Rayagada, he came in contact with interstate ganja peddlers Labala and Rath through a mediator Deepak who is absconding, police said.
