KHAMMAM: Police found explosives put up targeting the police by the Maoists under a culvert at Chikatigudem near Chinna-Midisileru in Cherla mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Thursday.
Police claimed that they had unearthed the explosives (dynamite ) and defused them during their checking and subsequently police stopped vehicle movement on that road.
The police were clearing the roads and culverts with dog squads and a Bomb disposal squad.
