Hyderabad: The special task force of the excise department on Sunday nabbed a person and seized 14 grams of hashish from him.
Speaking at a press conference, C. Vivekananda Reddy, deputy commissioner of the excise department, said that the STF conducted the raids in a flat in Banjara Hills and nabbed Mohammad Faraz Ali. “The team seized 14 grams of Hashish from his possession and arrested him,” he said.
Mr. Reddy said that hashish is prepared with the outer layer of marijuana plants. “The primary substance of the outer layer is used as drug. The accused procured it from Himachal Pradesh,” he said.
