ACB Seizes ₹4.65 Crore in Disproportionate Assets from Nalgonda Revenue Officer

HYDERABAD: The ACB on Saturday seized Rs 2.7 crore cash and allegedly disproportionate assets all worth Rs 4.65 crore in a raid on the house of Manchiredy Mahender Reddy, Marrigudem mandal revenue officer, Nalgonda, in Vanasthalipuram. The cash stashed in a blue-coloured briefcase. Gold jewellery was hidden in a box in his bedroom.

The raid was conducted in the presence of Mahender Reddy at his house in Shirdi Sainagar, Hasthinapuram. ACB officials identified key documents related to immovable property. They also searched the houses of his family members and relatives.

ACB booked Mahendar Reddy under the Prevention of Corruption Act, produced him before a special court and secured his judicial custody, the ACB Director-General of Police (DGP) stated in a press release.
