Hyderabad: Upset after a quarrel with her husband, a 32-year-old woman of Sri Rama Hills in Mansoorabad committed suicide by hanging herself on Saturday night.
LB Nagar Inspector V. Ashok Reddy said 32-year-old Mangamma got married to Chandra Shekar in 2009 and they had two children. On Saturday night, Mangamma and Chandra Shekar had a heated argument over a family issue following which Shekar beat her up. Upset, she went inside a room and hanged herself from the ceiling using a cloth.
Mangamma’s body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy, post which it was handed over to her family for last rites.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
