Bengaluru: A 32-year-old Sudan national was arrested by the Whitefield police on charges of peddling drugs.
From the accused, Salman Hamad Kuwa, the police recovered 2 kg of marijuana and 1 gm of MDMA (methamphetamine, a synthetic drug).
The police received a tip-off, based on which they raided a place on Beire Street in Whitefield, arrested Kuwa and seized the drugs from him.
He was waiting for his clients to hand over the drugs when the police caught him. Two laptops, a mobile phone and a car were seized from him.
The accused was booked under the NDPS Act and remanded to judicial custody.
