Rowdysheeter murdered in Warangal

WARANGAL: In the middle of the night on Tuesday, a 38-year-old rowdysheeter was stabbed to death by a group of vendors from Uttar Pradesh near the wine shop at the railway station in Warangal.

According to Mills colony police station circle inspector T. Suresh, the deceased was identified as Syed Nazeer, a Shivanagar resident who owned a stall at the Warangal railway station and was left by four daughters and his wife.

Nazeer was introduced to some Uttar Pradesh vendors who used to sell key chains and locks in trains and were renting a residence near the railway station.

Nazeer and his companion Umesh went to the house where the UP merchants were staying on Tuesday night. Nazeer and UP merchants got into a heated debate over trivial matters. Around 11 UP sellers encircled Nazeer and attacked him with rods before hacking him to death and fleeing the scene. Umesh, who was with Nazeer at the time of the event, also fled.

One of the UP vendors, named as Vikas, who was linked to the murders, was renting a residence near the railway station with his pregnant wife. He was apprehended by the police.

Police officers recorded the case and began an investigation after receiving a complaint from Nazeer's wife, Rizwana Begum.
