Hyderabad: A speeding TSRTC bus ran over a woman identified as SP. Ramya, 40, killing her on the spot at Panjagutta in the city on Tuesday.
According to Panjagutta police, Ramya, a resident of Budwel has come to Erram Manzil. Her brother dropped her at Mehdipatnam, from where she came on her own to Punjagutta. From Panjagutta, when she was in the process of going to Erram Manzil, a city bus going towards Mehdipatnam hit her. The bus ran over her, killing her on the spot, said police.
The bus driver fled from the spot after the incident. Police registered a case against the bus driver and started an investigation.
