Bengaluru: During its ongoing drive against drug peddling, Kadugodi police arrested two people, including a Nigerian national, for peddling drugs concealed in apple boxes.
Based on a tip off, they were caught red-handed, along with 12 kg of Marijuana and 1.8 grams of MDMA concealed under the apples, which were neatly packed in the box. The police arrested Nidish B (29), who hails from Kerala and worked as a supplier in a hotel in Kadugodi. He came in contact with Rajesh, a drug peddler who was arrested by the CCB police recently under NDPS Act.
After the arrest of Rajesh, Nidesh began to peddler drugs with the help of Rajesh's contacts, including Chinedu Onwarah (27), from Nigeria. He used to supply drugs to the clients, the police said.
