Hyderabad: Non-duty paid liquor racket busted
The prime accused Hrudayanjal was nabbed earlier by Kazipet police in a similar offence on May 28 of this year.
Hyderabad: A special task force unit of the Prohibition and Excise department on Tuesday unearthed a non-duty paid liquor racket and seized 33 foreign liquor bottles from their possession.
Addressing a press conference, Joint Commissioner of the Prohibition and Excise department N.A. Ajay Rao said that a B.Tech student from Hanmakonda in Warangal, Gali Hrudayanjal Reddy, along with Bommagani Ramesh of Warangal were nabbed at Nampally while they were illegally trafficking the non-duty paid liquor from Madhya Pradesh.
“The prime accused Hrudayanjal was nabbed earlier by Kazipet police in a similar offence on May 28 of this year. His father is absconding,” the Excise official said.
