Hyderabad: After 3 years, 2 jailed over driver attack
Hyderabad: Two siblings who had attacked an RTC bus driver and a conductor for asking them to move their car aside and give way for the bus, were convicted by a court on Wednesday. They have been awarded jail for two years.
Another accused sibling involved is still at large. A non-bailable warrant was issued against him, said Rachakonda police. In 2016, a case was registered against Mohammed Aziz Ahmed, 37, Mohammed Ibrahim, 26, and Mohammed Haneef, 28, all siblings and residents of Kameshwar Rao Nagar, for assaulting an RTC bus driver P. Krishna and conductor K. Venkatesh.
On May 31, 2016, when the bus reached Karmanghat X-Roads, a car (AP 09 AQ 0126) suddenly stopped in front of the bus. When Krishna asked the car driver to move the vehicle and give way for the bus, three siblings stepped out of the car and attacked the RTC employees.
