Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police conducted Cordon and Search Operation at Shamshabad and Madhapur Zones in the wee hours of Sunday and detained at least 31 suspects with criminal records and four rowdy sheeters. Also 26 bikes, 33 autos without valid vehicle documents were seized during the operation that lasted from 2 am to 5 am.
At Madhapur Zone, the searches were conducted at NTR Nagar and Gopanpally villages. The searches were headed by Madhapur DCP Mr A. Venkateswar Rao along with 300 cops. Police used TS COP, C DAT applications and fingerprint scanners to trace old offenders. Around 750 houses were searched. Cops focussed on these areas as majority of residents there are daily wage earners who belong to other states.
