Mystery Surrounds Missing 12-year-old Karimnagar Girl

Karimnagar: A 12-year-old girl, who boarded a bus from her grandmother’s house in Peddapalli to reach her residence in Karimnagar district, has gone missing.

Police said the girl from Uturu village in Manakondur mandal of Karimnagar district had gone to her grandmother’s house in Peddapalli for Christmas holidays.

On Wednesday her grandfather boarded her onto the bus at Peddapalli bus station in the afternoon. He informed her father about the girl’s boarding and gave him the bus number. Her father reached the Karimnagar bus station before the arrival time but did not find his daughter on the bus.

The father inquired from the bus conductor and other passengers about the girl. They informed him that the girl reached Karimnagar but got down at the Bommakal flyover bridge.

The father rushed to the Bommakal crossroads and searched for his daughter. But he did not find her. He then lodged a complaint with the Karimnagar Rural police station.

Police started an investigation and circulated the girl’s photo on social media. A passenger from Jagtial called police officials saying he saw the girl in his bus while going to Jagtial.

Police officials observed the CCTV footage in Jagtial bus station. They noticed that she boarded a bus going to Secunderabad.

Five special teams have been formed to search for the missing girl.
