Thiruvananthapuram: Body of drowned boy recovered

Their father Anil is a floral merchant at Sasthamangalam and mother Sreeja is a housewife.

Thiruvananthapuram: The body of a boy who went missing in the Karamana river at Mangatukadavu near Thirumala on Tuesday evening was recovered by Wednesday evening. His brother's body was recovered on Tuesday itself.

The body of Sarath Chandran, 13, son of Anil Kumar of Sai Nivas at Tazhechira at Pidaram, floated to the surface almost near the spot where he went missing.

Though fire and rescue personnel carried out a search during the day, the body could not be recovered.

Sarath's brother Rahul Chandran's body was kept at Medical College hospital mortuary after postmortem examination. Sarath's body was also shifted to the Medical College hospital mortuary. The bodies will be handed over to the their family on Thursday.
