Prostitution Racket Busted in Hyderabad

Banjara Hills police raided "The Velvet SPA" located at Road no 2 and caught two persons organising prostitution under the guise of providing massage to the customers. Four men, including two techies, who had come to the Spa to avail the services, were also detained, and 14 women trafficked for prostitution were rescued.

Acting on a tip off, police raided the Spa and caught the organisers and the men red-handed with women. Inquiries revealed that Shayad Yusuf Basha and Jyoti Bajaj were running this Spa and providing sex workers to customers.

The organisers collected up to Rs 2,000 from each customer and paid up to Rs 15,000 per week to the women for indulging in prostitution. The accused were produced before the court, and the rescued women were sent to a rescue home.
