Hyderabad: A 33-year-old man was arrested by the Cyber Crime Police of Rachakonda for stalking and sending nude photographs and abusive texts to his wife after she complained against him for domestic violence and moved in with her parents.
The man was identified as Kotha Naga Srinivasa Kalyan Chakravarthi, 33, a private employee from Kundanbagh, Punjagutta and native of Kothapet in Vijayawada, police said.
“He got married on March 3, 2018 at Vijayawada and the couple initially led a cordial marital life at Pragathi Nagar in Kukatpally. On April 12, he came to know that his wife is taking medicines for neurological problems and when asked she told him that she was having the tablets for epilepsy. He felt that his in-laws had got her married to him by concealing her ailment and started harassing her both mentally and physically. Soon, differences cropped up between the couple following which the wife left for her parent’s house,” said the police.
As his wife refused to return home, he filed a conjugal case in the family court of Vijayawada and as a counter case, in July, the victim also filed a domestic violence case against Chakravarthi at the family court in LB Nagar, Hyderabad.
“To take revenge on his wife and her family members, he started sending abusive, vulgar and objectionable messages over WhatsApp and also sent his nude photos.” added the officials.
