Man assaulted, robbed by three miscreants in Bengaluru

When he refused the trio attacked Pappu on his head with iron rods and wooden sticks.

Bengaluru: A 28-year-old man was allegedly robbed of '20,000 by three known people in front of his house on Magadi Road in K.P. Agrahara police station limits on Friday night. The victim, Pappu Singh, his mother and younger brother too suffered injuries in the attack.

According to the police, few miscreants in the area, identified as Rakesh alias Vodda, Pattani, and Mani accosted Pappu and demanded that he give away whatever he had. When he refused the trio attacked Pappu on his head with iron rods and wooden sticks. His mother and younger brother too got beaten up.

Pappu later told police that he worked at a silver extraction unit in the area and the miscreants robbed him of his monthly salary of Rs 20,000. 2 women robbed

A 30-year-old woman, who was sleeping in the portico of her house, was robbed of her gold chain in Byatarayanapura late on Saturday night. In another incident in Subramanyapura police limits, a 55-year-old woman was robbed of her chain by two bike-borne men.
