Hyderabad: A 23-year-old nurse working in a private hospital in LB Nagar alleged that she was sexually exploited by her boyfriend. She said he had promised to marry her but had later refused citing caste differences. Police said the victim, who hails from Mahbubnagar district is working as a nurse at a private hospital in LB Nagar for around a year. She came into contact with the accused, B. Satish Kumar, who works for a private firm in LB Nagar.
They became friends and later fell in love. Satish promised that he would marry her once he is settled. In due course, they had physical relations several times in his room. Recently, he started avoiding her and refused to marry her saying that she is from a lower caste. The victim filed a complaint with the police who registered a case of rape and under the Criminal Amendment Act 2013 and SC&ST Atrocities Act.
