Hyderabad: Vasu, an engineering graduate was nabbed by SHE teams of Cyberabad East Commissionerate for allegedly harassing a 19-year-old engineering student. He was arrested on charge of harassing the girl by stealing her mobile phone and cash, and blackmailing for more money in exchange for the pictures.
In another incident, P Balakrishna, a 20-year-old daily wage earner was arrested for going to a girl’s house at Ibrahimpatnam and exposing himself to her. The girl’s mother called Balakrishna to the house and questioned him on his actions. Balakrishna abused and assaulted them in return. Police were informed about the incident and soon Balakrishna was arrested.
Around 26 boys including these two, who were booked under different charges for harassing girls and nabbed by SHE teams were counselled on Saturday. All the boys were nabbed red-handed while teasing girls.
Md Nayeem, Md Tabroz, Sheikh Basheer, M Uday were nabbed while they were teasing girls at Navodaya colony in LB nagar. V Karthik, G Venkata Chandrakanth, Avinash Ramesh, were found teasing women in Vijayapuri colony in Kothapet.
T Srinivas, Md Hemam were teasing students of the Government Girls High School in Kushaiguda, when SHE teams nabbed them, meanwhile Md Faraz and Md Rahan riding on bikes are teasing students of Sri Chaitanya College at Kamala nagar.
Meanwhile, M Naresh was apprehended for harassing a 19-year-old girl and threatened her of dire consequences if she rejected him.
