Hyderabad: Two arrested for killing friend
Hyderabad: Hyderabad police arrested two men on Thursday evening for murdering their 19-year-old friend in a heated altercation when they were all inebriated.
The body of Kashpa Vignesh Bandili was found at an under construction site in Bojagutta last Saturday.
ACP, Asifnagar, Ashok Chakrawarthy identified Bandari Vishnu, 23, and Paradesi Tilak, 24, as those who killed Vignesh on Saturday night. “They went out on July 21 and consumed alcohol, following which they went to an under-construction site in Gudimalkapur, Mehdipatnam. After consuming alcohol, they got into an argument and started abusing each other. In the heat of the moment Vishnu and Tilak picked up a wooden plank and attacked Vignesh on his head and jaw, causing instant death,” said the official.
Vignesh’s mother Lavanya Bondili identified him with his slippers.
A case has been registered at the Asifnagar police station under Section 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) of IPC.
