Hyderabad: Central Zone Task Force Police arrested a fake doctor on Wednesday from Amberpet. Police said Veera Bathini Sreedhar, 38, of Ramnagar was practicing at the Dwaraka Clinic in Amberpet.
Task Force DCP B. Limba Reddy said Sreedhar had come to the city from Karimnagar district six years ago and opened the Sai Ram Clinic in Bathkammakunta, Amberpet, in 2015. He mentioned his name as Dr Sreedhar, BAMS, UMS and cited Physician Reg. No. 1184. A criminal case was registered against him with the Amberpet.
Later he changed its name to Dwarka Clinic and said one Dr. Shravya Bhavana was working there. She left the clinic three months back and Sreedhar was treating patients with allopathy medicines, the DCP said. Based on reliable information, Central Zone Task Force apprehended the fake doctor.
