Hyderabad: Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin caught a contractor while he was digging up a road at Yousufguda on Sunday night, The small-time cable contractor was digging the road without permission from the GHMC. After Mr Fasiuddin discovered, upon questioning him, that he had no permission, a complaint was lodged at the Banjara Hills police station and the GHMC Circle 10 office.
GHMC staff was ordered to take stern action on the contractor. All contractors have tos seek permission from the GHMC to dig any road for any purpose.
