Hyderabad: A couple committed suicide by hanging themselves in Bogulkunta under P.S Narayanguda police station limits following a heated argument between them.
The police officials have have registered a case of suspicious death and further investigation is underway.
The couple were identified as Pyar Singh Negi , 42 and Rekha Devi, aged 39 hailing from Uttarakand,
According to the cops the couple, Pyar Singh Negi and Rekha, were living in a rented home in Boggulkunta with their children Sachin, 11, and daughter, 8.
Accordingly to Sachin’s statement, both parents had a heated argument in the night, which is quite frequent between them. Meanwhile both the kids were sleeping in the next room.
When he woke up saw his father hanging from the ceiling with a chunni and his mother dead on her bed with her saree beside her.
D. Karnakar Reddy, Sub Inspector of Police, P.S Narayanguda, Hyderabad said that “Based on the complaint from the of house owners a case under Section 174 Cr PC, a case of suspicious death was registered and the deceased were sent to Gandhi Hospital mortuary fro post mortem examination.
