Hyderabad: Cyberabad cyber crime police officials are inquiring into a Facebook post making derogatory comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A resident of Vanasthalipuram lodged a complaint on Thursday regarding a post by a youth on his Facebook page on Wednesday which had a picture of a couple posing for a selfie with a slipper instead of a mobile with a comment in Telugu saying the Prime Minister should try this new style selfie. The post got more than 100 likes and was shared across WhatsApp also.
After a complaint was lodged by a social media user, the police started investigating. “We are inquiring into the complaint. Based on the investigation, we will proceed.” said an official from Cyberabad cyber crime department.
