KCOCA invoked against rowdies Silent Sunila & Onte Rohit among 5
Bengaluru: The city police have booked five people, including rowdies Onte Rohit and Silent Sunila, under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Prevention Act.
After the investigation into a threat case related to Tata Ramesh, a close aide of APMC president Kadabagere Seena, who was shot at recently, the city police have booked the accused under the stringent KCOCA.
The other three are, Mohan Kumar alias Double Meter Mohan, 30, Nagaraj alias Wilson Garden Naga, 30, and Pramod alias Karyappa, 29.
The investigations revealed that the accused formed a criminal gang and continued with unlawful activities. “Double Meter Mohan procured illegal weapons and used his gang members to threaten businessman and others for hafta. In Yelahanka threat case, the police seized illegal weapons from Double Meter Mohan,” an official said.
“Onte has managed to get class-1 contractor licence in PWD through nefarious means. He participated in various bids. We found that he used criminal force to threaten the other bidders. Mohan and Naga revealed that Onte and Silent hatched a plan to eliminate one of their enemies, Mani,” the official said.
