Hyderabad: Rapped by teacher, Class 8 boy flees home
Hyderabad: A class VIII student of Lotus Lap Public School at Vanasthalipuram went missing from home on Monday evening. Mohd Ali left behind a note that read, "Because of Joshi Sir and Srikar, I am going out forever." His parents have lodged a complaint with the police and a search operation is on. Initial investigation has revealed that the boy had taken two mobiles to school and when his teachers realised this, they asked him to get his parents to school. The police feel that out of fear for the possible repercussions, the boy left home.
Meanwhile his parents have reported that Joshi and other teachers had ill-treated their child for bringing mobiles. "Our only appeal is please to get our child back safely", they said. One of the mobiles belonged to the boy’s mother.
The boy had gone to school carrying with him two mobiles. During one of the classes, a teacher Mr. Joshi had caught the boy with two mobiles and told him to go home and bring his parents to the school, as he wanted to discuss the issue with them. When his parents returned home, they found the note. They lodged a complaint with the police who registered a missing case and after inquiring in the school they found that the boy had also shared an objectionable image with his teacher, due to which the teacher asked him to get his parents to school.
But the boy out of fear that his parents will admonish him if they got to know about the incident, emptied his school bag, packed a few clothes in it and left home. All angles are being probed, Vanasthalipuram inspector P Murali Krishna said.
