Telangana: Man held for gold shop theft
Hyderabad: Begumpet police arrested a former worker of a jewellery shop in Begumpet for stealing gold ornaments from the shop. The accused, Jallaluddin Mulla, 60, from Hubli, West Bengal, was working in the shop for a long time. Last year, he went to his home town where he devised a plan with his relatives to loot his owner’s shop.
BVack on work in January, he complained to his owner that he had severe stomach pain and would sleep in the shop. The owner agreed and left the shop after the closing time. Late that night, he stole gold ornaments and threw them outside where his family members were waiting. In the morning, he left as usual. Later, he tried to sell the gold at the pot market area in Hyderabad where the person intimidated the police, leading to his arrest.
