Home alone woman's throat slit in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: In a shocking incident, a 29-year-old woman was found murdered with her throat slit inside her house at Kabbehalla in Kamakshipalya police limits on Tuesday.
The woman was alone at home when the incident happened. The deceased, Taslima Banu, was the wife of Abdul Razzaq and a mother of two children.
The incident is suspected to have occurred between 10.30 am and 3.30 pm, and it came to light when her eldest son came home from school at 3.30 pm and found her body lying in a pool of blood.
According to the police, Taslima’s husband, a car mechanic, was at work, while her children were at school when the incident occurred.
DCP (West) M.N. Anucheth said that Taslima’s throat has been slit with a sharp object. As there were no signs of forced entry to the house and outward signs of robbery, the motive is not yet known, he said, adding that valuables on the deceased’s body were intact. A case of murder has been registered at the Kamakshipalya police station and three teams have been formed to nab the culprits.
