Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone apprehended three men involved in a robbery case and recovered two smartphones used by them during the offence.
The arrested were identified as Mohammed Sultan, 23, Dubba Laxman, 22 and Wilson alias Rincha, 24, all residents of Somajiguda, police said.
“On the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, two students pursuing Hotel Management and residing at MS Maqtha, Somajiguda went for a walk in the park opposite Necklace Road Railway Station. The trio approached them from the opposite direction and snatched their cellphones away after beating them and injuring them with a sharp edged knife,” said DCP, Commissioner’s Task Force, P. Radhakrishna Rao, adding that vices led the trio to commit the offence.

The officials recovered two stolen mobiles were recovered from the trio and they were handed over to Ramgopalpet Police for taking further action against them.
