Hyderabad: A 45-year-old security guard of a hotel was arrested by the Golconda police for allegedly assaulting a minor girl sexually in the washroom of a prayer place.
The victim, who is mentally unstable, had gone to Bada Bazaar in Golconda to buy a milk sachet, when the accused lured her with chocolate inside a washroom of the prayer place and sexually assaulted her. “Following, her cries, the locals rushed to the spot and caught the man,” said the police.
Based on a complaint received from the girl’s parents, who are daily wage labourers, police has booked cases under relevant sections of IPC and PoCSO Act. The accused has been remanded to judicial custody.
