Hyderabad: A day after Zaheerabad police registered cases of kidnap of a married woman and alleged gangrape, investigations were carried out at the spot on Monday.
The victim was shifted to a rehabilitation centre in Sangareddy district. The police said that the victim had stated that when she was waiting for an autorickshaw at KPHB near JNTU, two persons came in an autorickshaw and convinced her in giving her a ride to Secundrabad.
However, the two headed towards Zaheerabad, assaulted the victim and forced her to have liquor. On September 23 night, the miscreants then took the victim to an isolated place in Zaheerabad police limits where the miscreants allegedly gangraped her. Victim medical test reports are awaited.
Meanwhile, a team of police has retrieved the CCTV footage from the KPHB for verification.
