Illicit affair, revenge behind youths murder
Hyderabad: Sexual jealousy and revenge resulted in the death of two persons, the latest one being the murder of J. Ramesh at Attapur in Rajendranagar on Wednesday. Ramesh had killed V. Mahesh Goud because of a dispute over an illegal relationship with a woman. Ramesh in turn was killed by Mahesh’s father and father-in-law in an act of revenge.
Two murders and an attempt to murder involving fathers of the victims, in a span of 15 days, has shocked people. Shamshabad DCP N. Prakash Reddy said “Ramesh and Mahesh were having an illegal relationship with a married woman living in their neighbourhood. The woman, who anticipated more trouble to come, has vacated the house and moved to another place.
“An angry Ramesh thought that Mahesh was the reason for the woman leaving and hatched a plan to kill Mahesh by taking him to an isolated place near Shamshabad. He was arrested by the police when the car with blood stains was identified by staff at a servicing centre. The first murder took place due to sexual jealousy and the second one followed as a revenge,” said the DCP.
Kishan Goud, who killed his son’s murderer on Wednesday, was undergoing treatment for a mental condition at the Institute of Mental Health in Erragadda. He is under treatment for the last three years and is currently under medication. After his son Mahesh’s murder in December 2017, his condition started worsening.
“Kishan was waiting for a chance to eliminate Ramesh. For the last three days, Kishan and his brother-in-law Laxman were sketching the murder. Learning that Ramesh would attend the court alone, they decided to kill him,” said Mr Prakash Reddy.
