Hyderabad: Pravallika and her 16-year-old lover who allegedly killed Pravallika’s husband Mallesh were arrested and produced in court on Monday.
Police said M. Mallesh, an employee of Kodad Market Committee in Nalgonda district, and his wife Pravallika were staying at Kodad along with their two kids.
Pravallika entered into an illegal relationship with Mallesh’s 16-year-old minor nephew. When Mallesh came to know about this, there was a quarrel and the matter went to elders. As per their advise the couple shifted to Hyderabad.
On Friday, when Pullaiah returned home from work, he found Pravallika and the boy in intimacy and he sent the boy out. Pravallika quarrelled with Mallesh and left the house. Mallesh and the boy searched for Pravallika but she could not be found. He later consumed liquor heavily. As he was not in a position to walk his nephew took him home in an autorickshaw.
“After reaching home when Pullaiah started quarrelling with them the boy kicked him in the stomach and when he fell down the boy and Pravallika kicked Mallesh on his testicles. Later they hit his head on the wall and killed Mallesh,” Vanasthalipuram ACP B. Bhaskar Goud said.
After the death both planned to dispose the body and took neighbour Suresh’s bike saying that they want to go to hospital to visit a relative. While they were going towards Kodad at midnight police teams from Hayathnagar intercepted them.
Pravallika and the boy were produced in court.
