Hyderabad: Miscreants torched LB Nagar TRS in-charge Rammohan Goud’s brother’s car on Sunday midnight. The incident happened at his residence in Vanasthalipuram where the vehicle was parked.
Rammohan stays in Vanasthalipuram along with his parents and brothers’ families. They own around four cars, all bearing the number 888 in different series.
On Sunday, his younger brother Satish Goud, who is in the construction business, parked the car (AP 28BD 888) in front of their house. When the driver came at around 7.30 am he saw that the front tyres and the bumper were burnt.
“Some drunks did it. They put two old tyre tubes under the car in the front and lit a fire. Had it not rained at midnight the car and other cars would have been burnt totally,” Rammohan said, adding that they had no enemies to suspect.
He said that they have CCTVs at home, but they were damaged in the rains. Police registered a case and started checking CCTV cameras in the surroundings.
