Hyderabad: Two men and three juveniles involved in 11 house burglaries were apprehended on Tuesday evening by Medipally police. They were identified as Uppari Baba Sai, 20, resident of Boduppal, and Bhuvanagiri Sai Balaji, 19, resident of Ghatkesar and three juveniles. Officials recovered 21.12 tolas gold, 11 tolas silver, Rs 5,000 cash, three mobiles and an LED TV from their possession. The total value of recovered goods is estimated to be Rs 7 lakh.
“On Tuesday evening, officials in a patrolling police van in Medipally area noticed the offenders and apprehended them,” said the police. “The gang was in-volved in 11 house burglaries, seven in Medi-pally, two in Ghatkesar and two in Uppal, in four months’ time,” added the official. The arrested accused were booked under relevant sections of IPC by Medipally police and were sent to judicial remand.
