Hyderabad: After the road accident that killed one auto driver and four women vegetable vendors, the police said that six other victims are undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Unit.
“Praveen Reddy, who drove the car and three of his co-passengers are undergoing treatment a hospital and we have started an investigation,” said M.R. Gangaram, inspector at Manchal police station.
About allegation that Praveen was driving the car in an inebriated state, the inspector said, “The blood alcohol level test has to be done within 24 hours. But since Praveen is still undergoing treatment, the chances of conducting the test are minimal.”
