Hyderabad: Man arrested for luring girl
Hyderabad: A rowdy sheeter who allegedly lured a 16-year-old promising marriage and raped her for three days, was arrested by Kalapathar police. The suspect, Mirza Rahmath Ali Baig, 31, took the girl to his house and made her stay with him, convincing her that he would marry her. Following a complaint from her parents, police arrested the suspect .According to police, Baig was already married and has four kids.
“He met the girl 15 days ago and became her close friend. He promised that he would marry her. On April 14, the girl left her house and did not return. When her mother called her, she said that she was at Himayathnagar with her friends. But she did not return for three days,” said Assistant Commissioner of Police K. Ashok Chakravarty.
“Three days after her brothers and parents started a search, they found her in Baig’s house. The suspect ran away from his house when he saw the victim’s relatives arriving,” said the police official.
