ANANTAPUR: A married woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at her residence in Galibipalle village in Lepakshi mandal in the district on Monday because of harassment by her husband and family members. Sources said that K. Rupa, 25, who got married five years back was being harassed by her husband, her father-in-law and mother-in-law for additional dowry. Lepakshi police registered a case against her husband and in laws based on a complaint by her parents.
