Hyderabad: A teacher at Sesame Tree School in Narsingi gagged an Upper KG student for talking too much.
He did not stop and continued talking to other students. The teacher then taped a plaster on the child’s mouth and made him sit with it in the classroom. The boy complained about this when he returned home in the evening.
“He was very dull when he came home that day and when we inquired, he told us that his teacher had gagged his mouth with plaster for talking to other students in the classroom. We called the school principal to enquire about the incident, but there was no response,” the boy’s mother told the police.
Based on her complaint, Narsingi police registered a case against the teacher, Asra, under Section 82 of the Juvenile Justice Act and have started an inquiry.
